Welcome to Lumark
Lumark is a fast, cross-platform, local-first Markdown note-taking app. It runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, stores every note as a plain .md file on your own disk, and never sends your data anywhere.
What you get
- Local-first. Notes are ordinary Markdown files in a folder on your computer. No account, no cloud, no tracking.
- Folders and notes. Group notes into folders, rename them, delete them, and search within a folder.
- Split editor. Write Markdown on the left and see the rendered preview on the right, or focus on just one of them.
- Autosave. Every change is saved for you. There is no Save button to forget.
- Light and dark themes. Follows your OS on first launch, then remembers your choice.
- Small and quick. Built with Tauri, so it starts fast and stays light on memory.
